I want someone to cuddle with. Guys, it’s been a year. ACTUALLY to the exact day since surfer boy and I broke up. Or at least when the drama with him started.
Ironically, my last post on here was about giving up online dating forever.
I didn’t. Again.
I reactivated my account last week. I was just coming off this 60 day fitness challenge. I’m feeling good about myself and sexy, and I want someone to share it with.
I only had 5 days on my account. There were a few prospects, one I was actually excited about. WE decided to have a gym date then go for a beer–my first in over 2 months! The problem…him coming to the gym with me meant there was a real chance we would run into my gym crush. Gym Crush has been progressing naturally, albeit slowly. It’s a fun path. Exciting because I never know when I’ll see him or what will transpire. But we chat in passing. So I happened to see him, and though his beloved Cubs were in the final game of the world series that evening, he stayed to chat. I kept asking if he wanted to leave, and he would check the score and then stay to chat longer.
I mentioned that I was having my first beer that Friday, and he said, “I would join you but I’ll be out of town.”
Progress!!! But then my class was starting and he left without asking for my number. It excites me in a big way, how this seems to be progressing at a natural pace.
The boy from match came to gym. He’s terribly out of shape. Maybe not terribly, but he couldn’t keep up with me. Gym Crush can. But he’s got something big on Gym Crush, mainly that he has taken me on a date and has my number.
We went for a beer and dinner afterward, spent over three hours walking around the town, looking at the ocean. Great conversation. He’s smart, good looking, funny. Maybe rich, I think. Talks about places he wants to take me.
He came over Sunday night to watch the Walking Dead and we cuddled on the couch and made out a little bit. He asked me to dinner Friday night but I can’t go. Not sure when we are hanging out again.
There’s a few other guys lurking there, but I haven’t met any face to face and my online dating account expired. Haven’t seen Gym Crush since last week.
